Install & setup
The Solis 2 lands as one freight pallet at the end of your driveway. Two adults can move components into a small backyard with a flat dolly. Assembly takes a half day with basic hand tools — no carpentry beyond driving lag bolts into the stainless brackets.
Foundation: a flat 6'×6' pad — poured concrete, compacted gravel, or a properly rated deck. The unit footprint is 5' square; we recommend at least 6" of overhang on all sides for drainage.
Maintenance
Sweep the interior bench after each use. Once a season, rotate or rinse the volcanic stones (they don't degrade fast, but mineral buildup happens). The Nordic Spruce exterior weathers to a silver-grey patina on its own; if you want to hold the original blonde tone, treat with a UV-stabilized exterior oil annually.
