Install & setup
One freight pallet, curbside delivery. Two adults can put it together in an afternoon — about 4–6 hours start to finish, no carpentry skill required beyond patience with the band tensioning.
Foundation: a level 8' × 10' pad — poured concrete is best; compacted gravel or a properly rated 50 lb/sqft deck also works. Allow at least 12" of clearance behind the cabin for ventilation.
Maintenance
Sweep the bench between sessions. Oil the exterior once a year if you want to hold the warm spruce tone (untreated, it weathers to silver). Inspect the band tension once per season and tighten if needed. Replace any cracked volcanic stones every 18–24 months of regular use.
